Dr. Shadani grew up in South Florida where she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami in biological sciences and psychology. She completed her medical education and graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Long Island, NY and went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Hospital which is where she developed an interest in rheumatologic diseases. Dr. Shadani pursued her fellowship training in Rheumatology at Midwestern University in Illinois. After fellowship, she spent five years in private practice in Raleigh, North Carolina before returning to the New Jersey area.

Dr. Shadani holds a double board certification in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and has extensive training in musculoskeletal ultrasound examination. She specializes in the full spectrum of rheumatologic diseases with a special interest in treating rheumatoid arthritis. She is well versed in standard therapies as well as newer medications on the horizon. As a rheumatologist Dr. Shadani understands the impact of chronic disease on physical and emotional well-being. She believes that there is no one size fits all treatment approach to these diseases and is committed to customizing a treatment regimen to each individual patient. Dr. Shadani is dedicated to building long-lasting relationships based on trust and medical integrity with every single patient.

Aside from treating patients, Dr. Shadani enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband and four young children.
